Hardware Maintenance

CSL provides Hardware Maintenance Services to its customers in Malta 24x7 with a committed SLA of 2 hours-time to fix. We accept financial penalties if the agreed SLA is not met, as we believe that an SLA means nothing unless there is a consequence if this is not met. Our stock pool of parts include SAS drives, SATA drives, SSD drives, CPU’s, SAN Raid Controllers, Motherboards, RAM modules, Power supplies, Fans, batteries, and Blades Chassis for IBM Intel, IBM AIX, IBM As400, IBM DS series and IBM N-series storage, plus F5 & Kemp Load Balancers, Cisco Routers & Firewalls, HP L2 & L3 Switches, Net Apps storage and HP Proliant rack mount servers.

The Hardware Maintenance Offering includes: 

  • Access to our stock pool of parts worth €500k located at our Data Centre Facilities in Malta
  • Parts replacement on IBM & HP Servers and Storage 24x7 with 2 hours fix time 
  • A dedicated Service Manager who will conduct monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Access to our Autotask systems for call logging with the CSL Service Bench 24x7
  • An Operations Manual detailing all procedures for HWMA
  • Activation of the call home feature on the servers which will notify the CSL Service Bench
  • Half yearly health checks on the servers and check status of microcode levels
  • Firmware updates upon agreement and sign off with the customer
  • The management of the same firmware levels in our stock pool of parts
